Britanica has proven herself to be a versatile force, shining brightly in the ever so demanding entertainment industry. She writes, sings and dances, yet her biggest asset is her rapping ability. To give you an idea of how well she raps, Chuck Chill Out called her "the hottest new Hip Hop artist in a dress." All the hype to the side, Britanica is now set to launch an illustrious entertainment career.

For Britanica, music started at a young age. "When I was four years old, I realized I was drawn to Hip Hop and it was fun. It turned out to be something that I really wanted to do," she says. Now, all grown up, she is making a name for herself in the music biz. If you check out her website (www.britanica.us), you'll find a clip of her new single "Tisk Tisk", and perhaps a couple of super stars; Will.i.am and Lil Wayne among them! "Tisk Tisk" is available on iTunes and www.britanica.us, and the music video for it can also be seen on her website. Britanica is currently working on her new album with tracks and features from: Will.i.am, Lil Wayne, Blackstreet, Teena Marie, and Omar Epps to name a few.

"Love what you do unconditionally and you can do anything." That is the proven testament of Britanica, whose thoughts, emotions and voice blend into a harmonious whole. She's been labeled as the next big thing in Hip Hop, an electric beat ever present at the heart of her music. Britanica was born in Manhattan, Spanish Harlem's own, and speaks three languages fluently (French, English, and Spanish) of which she raps and sings in two (English and Spanish). "I learned French while studying at the University of Geneva in Switzerland," she says. "My background in Spanish Harlem, extremely musical and cultural, gave me great opportunities to dance and make rhymes with others in both English and Spanish."

In her earliest experiences in the music biz, Britanica was the only female in a dance and rap crew called A.T.B.A.N KLANN, now known as the Black Eyed Peas. Matter of fact, Will.i.am dedicated the album "Elephunk" to Ellen (Ellie) Orrego, Britanica's mother. Shortly thereafter, Britanica formed her own rap group called Triple Treat (which consisted of three females) and was given a recording deal. She later went solo, and opened for the likes of the legendary Teena Marie (Godmother) and toured the world with Rick James.
"Music is about sharing what's inside you. Music has always been an outlet for me and has really helped me release tension and get through a lot of tough situations. When I'm creating songs, I'll pull from my experiences and others as well. My main goal is to make music that touches the heart, that's really what music is all about. I feel like the messages in the songs that I create are inspiring and give a message of hope and encouragement to the nation's youth."

"It's been an amazing journey so far," Britanica says of her career that will surely continue to blossom in the years to come. Softly and with a smile in her voice, Britanica adds, "Love, laugh, and enjoy every moment with no regrets!"

"Britanica has amazing creative skills, she dances, raps, sings, and writes songs. Plus, she is business savvy. What more could you ask for in an Artist?" - Sonya Pruneda, CEO of Rite 1 Inc.
